The charity's purpose is to advocate the conservation of Atlantic salmon stcks for future generations. It does this by public awareness, education, research, and feild programs. Field programs include removing obstruction to salmon migrations; improving salmon habitat, etc. The charity provides advice to gov't, through its membership in the Miramichi Watershed Management Committee, to promote and conserve the salmon resource on the Miramichi.
