New Programs for the Canadian Wildlife Federation this year included work to establish a Healthy Waters education program designed to introduce youth to aquatic ecosystems through experiential learning and the expansion of the Wild Migrations program to include field experiences for youth to explore wildlife migratory habitat. Research projects included investigating barriers for fish passage for fish species at risk and recreationally fished species and research into agricultural intensification to determine impacts to species at risk and pollinators.
