We have created a Rapid Response after hours service for evenings and weekends when Veterinary Intake Services are unavailable. We have developed a Speakers Service in order to provide Public Information and Outreach Programs; and through our membership in The Ottawa Coalition to End Violence Against Women have extended our contacts with Community Resource Centers and those organizations and services designed to assist women escaping from domestic abuse. We are presently assisting, or have assisted groups in Toronto, Belleville, Georgina and Alexandria in the creation of fostering programs for their local Violence Against Women Shelters.
