The purpose of the Foundation is to raise funds to support and further the health and well-being of companion animals. a) To prevent and relieve animal suffering by providing financial support for the essential veterinary care of companion animals whose owners cannot afford such care; b) To promote the welfare of animals by funding essential veterinary care and rehabilitation services for surrendered companion animals facing euthanasia; c) To promote the welfare of animals by providing funding for a blood donor program for the benefit of companion animals in need of blood products; and d) To prevent and relieve animal suffering by funding clinical studies in furtherance of veterinary medicine, with a particular emphasis on novel treatments and procedures that minimize animal suffering.
