1.Safer Medicines for Children: development of a clinical trials platform to develop and use evidence to improve the safety and quality of medicines for children, involving sites across Canada and forging international partnerships. 2.National birth cohort inventory hosted by MICYRN: facilitate expansion and increased harmonization of birth cohort information to enable sharing across cohorts thereby increasing the statistical power and effectiveness of interventions on maternal health, pregnancy outcomes, long-term child health, social adjustment, and adult chronic disease. 3.Research Ethics: development and application of guidance to improve the quality and consistency, and efficiency of research ethics review of reproductive and child health research studies. 4. Clinical Research Informatics: Improving data quality, reliability, and reporting. 5. Reseach Partnerships: Engaging national stakeholders in Child and Maternal Health.
