National Wildlife Centre is focused on helping native wildlife species through wildlife rehabilitation and rehabilitators. More than 500 animals were seen over the fiscal periods and most of these animals were released by the licensed rehabilitator. Animals were seen for general health checks or because of various surgical and medical procedures that were necessary. National Wildlife realized more than 2000 volunteer hours in the second fiscal period by dedicated veterinarians and non-medical staff helping with the medical cases. National Wildlife Centre provides training to wildlife biology students and veterinarians to help native wildlife.
