Lower Mainland Network For Animals Society is a
Animal Welfare Charity located in Port Coquitlam, BC.
Services Provided by Lower Mainland Network For Animals Society
As funds allow we provide financial assistance to low income pet owners, including seniors and others who have taken on responsibility for homeless animals. Our primary focus of spay & neuter significantly impacts the future becuase each one reduces the number of unwanted animals born to suffer needlessly. Without our help many people who aren't able to afford to spay/neuter would have animals continuing to reproduce at the overwhelming pace and compounding the problem. We assist by raising funds, answering calls, making vet appointments, & follow-up. We provide education to offer a way to be responsible & part of the solution, through information on our website, and distributing information handouts. We use our own vehicles to collect, sort, record & distribute donations of pet food & supplies to those in need. This includes agencies who work with street youth and the homeless such as Covenant House, & Directions, & food banks in several locations. Our work with First Nations continues to grow and continues successfully with spay/neuter and education programs.
