We provide owners of eligible cats/dogs the opportunity to have their animals spayed or neutered by contributing one third of the costs and more at times in case of emergency surgeries and vaccinations. Total spaying/neutering since 1999 is 725 animals. Our funding formula based on client financial needs is as follow: 1/3 through the local veterinarian, 1/3 through our funding, and 1/3 from the applicant. We conduct public awareness campaigns with pet calendars, are present at local community events and the local newspaper features articles, pictures and ads to promote our cause. Our 6 members do all of the volunteer hours for all of our events. We hold an annual Xmas bake and craft sale.
