Promotes high standards of ethics, practice and professional conduct in the treatment of wildlife. provides skills and education to members of the public through our newsletter, courses, presentations and the AGM. Fosters cooperation between all levels of government and other provincial, state & national wildlife rehab organizations. Provides advice for rehab facilities, to government agencies responsible for wildlife legislation. Offers a $500 bursary for students and a $300 bursary to attend AGM. In conjunction with the Oiled Wildlife Society of BC, the Oiled Wildlife Response "First Responders training program" teaches qualified rehabilitators oiled wildlife response.
